I'm a slacker.

knittykat: Hello Kitty face, knitted by me. (Default)
At least in the sense of knitting lately, anyway. Poor Jack still isn't finished, and I haven't been working on him a lot - the last time I did anything on him was Friday night. All I have to do is one arm and his legs, sew him up, and stuff him, which is not a lot of work, but I haven't felt like sitting down to do it.

Also, just as a note? If you ever want to put a pipe cleaner inside an I-cord... it's easiest if you knit around the pipe cleaner to begin with. I figured this out after I'd knitted a good part of Jack's arm and tried to insert said pipe cleaner. Can't say it went well. I ended up frogging almost back to the beginning - luckily, I-cord doesn't take long!

Then, once I fixed that problem, I managed to sew in his arm inside-out... as in, when I turned him right-side-out, his arm was inside his body. Go me. *hides in shame*

(Aside: has anyone ever actually used a pipe cleaner to actually clean a pipe? Can't help but wonder.)
